The Hags were both in London...but not at the same time. What games are they playing?

Kate Berlant and Jaqueline Novak have delighted their international fan base by touring. However, would be patrons are tortured by what several HITs (hags in training) called “ships passing in the night vibes.” With Novak leaving London on June 26th and Berlant arriving the next week they were days (also known as a collection of hours), from gracing the flagship store of colonialism’s soil at the same time. Cries of outrage filled the streets as audiences and venue owners alike mourned a missed Poog live opportunity.
Fan theories spanned COVID flight caps, restraining orders, as well as millenia old spiritual regulations limiting the amount of comedic power in the city at once.
These hypotheses were debunked by further research and a cursory knowledge of both performers’ commitment to creation. Both Novak and Berlant are known for putting the craft first. They said that, their “art must take precedence. They would have loved to see each other if the timing worked out” but that it would be “a disservice to each piece and greater artistic communities if they were to juggle intentionally and prioritize social desires. They are individual artists above all else.” Ironically this came in the form of a joint statement from their shared publicist.
